To commemorate 30 years of establishment and the opening of our fully automated galvanizing plant, Progress Galvanizing held a celebration in January 2017. With more than 1,000 distinguished guests, including our guest-of-honour,  Mr K. Shanmugam, Minister of Home Affairs and Law, the day was started with a bang by the Lion Dance troop. A speech by our managing director, Mr Lim Chin Keong, opened the joyous occasion. Our minister then gave a warm address, encouraging our local industries to invest in automation to promote safety and higher productivity. After the illuminating of the glass ball by Mr K. Shanmugam, Mr Lim Chin Keong and Mr Lim Chin Wah the celebrations officially begun and a sumptuous buffet was shared.
